A presence that stays

Some urns sit quietly in a room and fade into it. The Éole does the opposite. White and gold, clean in line, steady in character, it holds its place wherever you put it.

Glassfibre: how it's made and why it matters

Glassfibre urns are built up in stages, and the process takes longer than most people expect. A core framework is formed from glassfibre, resin and plaster. Over that, two or three thick coats of lacquer mixed with plaster are applied, with the urn rinsed in water between each one. Colour is added next, followed by a further coat of varnish. A final layer of varnish is then applied before the urn is evened out and polished by hand.

Each layer has to dry fully before the next can go on. That drying time is not a shortcut anyone can take. It is what gives the finished urn its solidity, a piece that feels substantial despite its light weight, and holds its surface well over time.

White and gold: a considered combination

The pairing of white and gold on the Éole is deliberate. White carries a quality of clarity and stillness. Gold speaks to what endures and what was precious. Together they give the urn a character that can hold many kinds of meaning: the strength of the person you are remembering, or the calm you are looking for now. The meaning is yours to place in it, and that is as it should be.

Suitable for use with or without an ash bag

The Éole is suitable for use both with and without an ash bag, so you can follow whatever arrangements have been made or whatever feels right to you. This is an urn for indoor use.

Practical reassurance

Questions about durability are entirely reasonable when you are choosing a cremation urn. Here is what you need to know about this one.

Care and longevity indoors

Glassfibre is not sensitive to ordinary indoor humidity, so normal household conditions present no concern. The polished lacquer finish protects the colour and surface over time. To clean the urn, a dry or very slightly damp cloth is all you need. Avoid abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the outer varnish layer. Because this funeral urn is designed for indoor use, you do not need to think about weather exposure or temperature variation from outside.

Giving a place to what matters

The bond you shared deserves a place that has been chosen with care. The Éole fits naturally on a mantelpiece, a windowsill or a quiet corner of a room. It is simply present, visible and steady, a mark of something that does not go away.

Personalisation

If you would like to personalise the urn, an engraving plate can be added, carrying a name, a date or a short phrase. A framed photograph placed alongside it, or a handwritten card, can make the space feel entirely your own. These are small choices that carry real weight.

If you have questions or would like to talk through what might suit best, we are happy to take that at your own pace. You do not have to make this choice alone.
