How the stand is constructed

The stand is made from glassfibre-reinforced plastic, a combination chosen for good reason. The material holds its shape precisely over time and carries the sustained weight of a cremation urn without any flexing or distortion. The high-gloss black finish is clean and composed, considered rather than cold. A drawer sits within the base, giving you a contained space for the objects you want close by. Along the front, a raised lip holds a steel engraving plate in place using small magnets.

Personalisation via engraving plate

An engraving plate can be added to the front of the stand. This is where you fix a name, a date, or a line of text that says exactly what you mean. Because the plate attaches magnetically, it sits firmly in place but can be swapped out if you ever want to change the wording. If you are thinking about what to have engraved, a short phrase or a few words that were particular to the two of you often carries more weight than a longer inscription.

Suitability, durability and care

This stand is designed for indoor use. Glassfibre-reinforced plastic does not absorb moisture the way wood does, and it will not warp or shift with the temperature changes typical of a living room. The construction is strong enough to support a full urn for ashes over the long term, so that is one thing you do not need to worry about. To clean the surface, a dry or slightly damp cloth is all that is needed to keep the high-gloss finish in good condition.
