Inside the charm is a small compartment designed to hold a portion of cremation ashes or grave soil. The top or base section unscrews so you can fill it yourself. When you order, we include a digital filling guide that takes you through the process step by step, including how to seal the compartment securely. If you would prefer not to fill it yourself, a family member, the crematorium or your funeral director can usually help, though it is worth noting that a charge may apply. Please be aware that this compartment is not suitable for a lock of hair.
