Please note: if your jewellery has a cut or faceted finish, polish in the direction of the cut to avoid fine scratches. See the second image for guidance.

When to replace the cloth

As you use the Gold Cloth®, the fabric will gradually darken. That discolouration is a sign the cloth is working: the absorbed oxidation and removed dirt are changing the colour of the fibres over time. The cloth is still effective until it turns completely black, at which point it is time for a new one. Do not wash it, as washing breaks down the impregnation. Store it dry and closed when not in use.
