Silver is an unforgiving material. It demands precision, and that precision shows in every ring. Each one is shaped individually by hand, which means no two are exactly alike. The hollow chamber inside is carefully constructed: small enough to sit discreetly on the finger, and sized precisely for what it needs to hold. It is worth noting that the chamber is not suitable for a lock of hair, as the space is too small for that purpose.

You are not simply choosing a ring. You are choosing a way to keep your connection with someone you loved tangible and present. That meaning is entirely your own. It does not need to be visible to anyone else, and it does not need to be explained.

Filling your ashes jewellery

A detailed filling guide is included with your order, so you can take your time and do this carefully at home. If you would prefer not to fill the ring yourself, your crematorium or funeral director can usually help, though this may involve an additional charge. You are also welcome to come to us directly: visit our shop by appointment, or send a small amount of ashes by recorded post with your order number and we will fill the ring and return it to you along with any remaining ashes.

Silver and everyday wear

Silver is sensitive to prolonged contact with moisture, salt and perfume. After contact with water, dry the ring thoroughly and store it somewhere dry when you are not wearing it. Cared for properly, the silver will keep its lustre and the seal will remain reliably secure, as described in the guide included with your order.

If you have a particular wish in mind, or would like a bespoke ashes ring designed around someone specific, we would be glad to talk it through.
