Ceramic Heart Keepsake Urn for Ashes - Cobalt Blue

A cobalt blue heart for memories of places and people

A vivid cobalt blue heart may call to mind the sea, an open sky or a place that matters to you. Made from ceramic, this small keepsake urn offers somewhere to hold a symbolic portion of ashes.

Made by hand in ceramic

Each heart is individually shaped from ceramic, glazed and fired at a high temperature. It has a smooth surface and a gently rounded shape that fits in the palm of your hand. Slight differences in the shape and glaze are part of its handmade character, so no two pieces are exactly alike.

Why choose cobalt blue?

Cobalt blue is striking without changing the heart’s intimate scale. Perhaps it recalls a coastal holiday, a favourite piece of clothing or simply a colour that suited the person you miss.

A small keepsake urn for cremation ashes

There is space inside the heart for a small, symbolic amount of ashes, not the full amount from a cremation. The ashes are not visible from the outside, allowing the heart to be kept as a discreet personal remembrance.

Its rounded shape makes it comfortable to hold, while the bright glazed finish gives it a distinctive place among photographs and keepsakes.

Presentation and care

The heart is supplied in a box made from handmade mulberry paper, using fibres from the mulberry tree. The box can also be used to store the heart safely when it is not on display.

Although fired ceramic is hard, it can chip or break if dropped or knocked. Handle it gently and clean the surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth. We recommend keeping it indoors.

The colour is expressive, but the association behind it can remain entirely private. If you have questions about how to add ashes or secure the heart afterwards, please get in touch for guidance before filling it.
