Ceramic Heart Keepsake Urn for Ashes - Green

A green heart with a connection to nature

For memories of gardens, woodland walks or time spent outdoors, a green ceramic heart can feel especially personal. This hand-shaped keepsake urn holds a small, symbolic amount of ashes.

Made by hand in ceramic

Each heart is individually shaped from ceramic, glazed and fired at a high temperature. It has a smooth surface and a gently rounded shape that fits in the palm of your hand. Slight differences in the shape and glaze are part of its handmade character, so no two pieces are exactly alike.

Why choose green?

The green glaze has a natural, peaceful character. You may associate it with a favourite landscape, someone’s love of plants or the ordinary moments you shared outside.

A small keepsake urn for cremation ashes

There is space inside the heart for a small, symbolic amount of ashes, not the full amount from a cremation. The ashes are not visible from the outside, allowing the heart to be kept as a discreet personal remembrance.

It can be kept in a familiar corner of your home, perhaps near a photograph or flowers, and lifted into your hand when you wish.

Presentation and care

The heart is supplied in a box made from handmade mulberry paper, using fibres from the mulberry tree. The box can also be used to store the heart safely when it is not on display.

Although fired ceramic is hard, it can chip or break if dropped or knocked. Handle it gently and clean the surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth. We recommend keeping it indoors.

No particular meaning is prescribed: what matters is whether this shade reminds you of your loved one. If you have questions about how to add ashes or secure the heart afterwards, please get in touch for guidance before filling it.
