The urn is shaped by hand from ceramic clay and then fired at a high temperature. With handmade ceramic, clay, glaze and temperature never react in exactly the same way. Ceramic is durable and retains its shape, but it can break if dropped or subjected to a hard impact. Place the urn on a dry, level and stable surface where it cannot easily be knocked over. Small differences resulting from the handmade production process are characteristic of this type of ceramic.
