The artist works with paint powders mixed to their own recipes, applied using brushes chosen specifically for fine detail work. Once the painting is complete, the surface is coated with a glaze powder, a glass powder dissolved in water and sprayed on at a precise thickness. During firing at temperatures between 1,050 and 1,250 degrees Celsius, that powder melts into a clear glass layer that bonds with the ceramic beneath. The result protects the painted surface and deepens the colours rather than muting them. That process is the reason the image stays sharp, vivid and stable over time.

Suitable for use with or without an ash bag

The urn accommodates use both with and without an ash bag, so the choice remains yours depending on your circumstances and preferences.
