legendURN

The Egyptian scarab was one of the most well-recognized symbols in Ancient Egypt, appearing as amulets, on jewelry and in funerary context. Modeled after the dung beetle, the scarab was closely connected with the sun god Khepri, who brought the sunrise over the horizon each day. Thus, it became a symbol of rebirth, regeneration, and protection in the afterlife.

Our ceramicist has been creating ceramic works of art for over 40 years and has a peerless mastery of this material. He fashions his urns by hand from premium-quality clay and, during firing, applies a layer of liquid bronze which bonds to the ceramic substrate.

The exclusive details and elaborate symbolism mean that the creations are not immediately identifiable as urns, but rather as works of art. The contemporary shapes and unique bronze colour make each urn for ashes a work of art which complements any kind of interior décor, whilst at the same time being a visual memento.

The ashes are placed into the urn through an opening in the base. This urn can be modified according to your specifications and personal inscriptions can be provided. Should you require further information about this urn or need help and advice please telephone us, fill in the contact form or contact us by email.
