Two lives, one place to rest together

If you are looking for a way to honour a bond that was shared across a lifetime, the ceramic duo companion funeral art urn 'Memory' offers something most urns cannot: room for two. Two people, two lives, held together in a single piece.

Hand-modelled by a single artist

Every urn in the legendURN collection is modelled by hand by an artist working from genuine feeling rather than a production template. That is not a marketing phrase. It is visible in every piece: no two urns are identical. After modelling, each urn goes through a careful drying process before it is fired and finished with a bronze coating. From the first touch of clay to the completed urn, the process takes around four weeks. That time is present in every detail you can see and feel.

What the bronze finish brings

Bronze has been associated with remembrance and permanence for centuries. The finish gives this urn a rich, considered appearance that settles naturally into a quiet corner of a room. It also holds up well outdoors, making this cremation urn suitable for both indoor and outdoor placement.

Something made by hand carries something different

There is a quality to a hand-formed object that cast or machined materials simply do not have. When you hold this urn, you are holding the attention and care of the person who made it. The modelled form carries a human touch that remains present long after it leaves the studio. You may not be able to put that into words immediately, but you will feel it.

Personalisation options

If you would like to personalise the urn, text engraving is available. A name, a date, or a phrase that belongs to the bond you shared. Get in touch to talk through the options, and the urn can be made to feel genuinely yours.

Practical guidance for placement and care

Ceramic is a stable, durable material. It does ask for a little thought in how and where you place it.

What to bear in mind

The bronze finish is weather-resistant, but if the urn is placed outside, some shelter from prolonged direct rainfall will extend its life outdoors. Ceramic is strong but not unbreakable, so choose a stable surface where there is no risk of it being knocked over. Indoors, this urn for ashes handles normal humidity well. Avoid sustained exposure to extreme moisture or frost. For cleaning, a dry or lightly damp cloth is all that is needed. Do not use abrasive products on the surface or finish.

The production process takes around four weeks. If you have questions about timing, or would like to discuss personalisation, we are happy to talk it through with you at whatever pace feels right.
