A permanent place for someone who stays with you

Choosing a memorial takes clarity and calm, and those aren't always easy to find. This granite cremation urn monument offers a dignified, lasting resting place, completed with a stainless steel text plate to hold the name and words that matter most.

Granite and stainless steel: materials chosen for the long term

Granite is one of the densest natural stones used in memorial work. It is quarried in blocks, cut to size and finished with tools and techniques specific to the stone. That process takes genuine skill, and the result is a surface that needs nothing from you to maintain its appearance over decades. The stainless steel text plate resists oxidation and will not discolour with age. Together, these two materials form a monument that simply endures.

What you are choosing when you choose this monument

This is not just a marker. It is a visible, permanent record of who someone was and what the bond you shared meant to you. The text plate gives you the space to say that in your own words, which is why every monument, however familiar the form, becomes something entirely its own.

Personalisation: name, dates and your own words

The stainless steel plate is engraved with the text you provide. If the standard dimensions do not suit your cemetery's requirements or your own situation, alternative sizing is available.

Placement and practical considerations

Granite withstands moisture, frost and sustained outdoor exposure. It does not weather and requires no treatment or sealing. Before placing the monument at a cemetery, note that any concrete base slab and the foundation posts beneath it must be installed by the cemetery itself. If you are considering placing the urn monument in a private garden, a plastic urn vault is available separately and straightforward to fit yourself.

Check before you order

It is worth speaking with your cemetery manager or local authority before placing your order. Some burial grounds have specific rules about dimensions, materials and form, and in certain locations only stonemasons from the surrounding area are permitted to install monuments. A quick conversation beforehand avoids complications later.

Approval before production

Once you have placed your order, we will send you a proof to review. This gives you the opportunity to check every detail before the monument goes into production.

If you have questions about sizing, inscription or suitability for your cemetery, we are happy to talk through the options with you at your own pace.
