A place that does justice to who they were

Choosing a grave monument is not straightforward. You want something that fits the person you have lost, the place where they rest, and your own sense of what feels right. This granite cremation urn with a stainless steel text plate offers exactly that combination: a material built to last, paired with space for the words that matter most.

Granite and stainless steel: made to endure

Granite forms deep in the earth under intense heat and pressure, and that origin shows in its character. It has no porous structure, holds its colour in wet conditions, and resists surface wear through years of exposure to the elements. The stainless steel text plate is equally resilient, resistant to oxidation and discolouration even after prolonged exposure to rain and temperature changes. Together, these two materials require very little maintenance and retain their appearance for decades.

Available in several granite colours

Granite is available in a range of colours, from deep black to grey and earthy brown tones. You can choose a finish that suits the style of the cemetery and reflects something of the person you are remembering.

The words you choose will last

The stainless steel text plate is the heart of this urn for ashes. It carries what you want to say: a name, dates, a line that describes the bond between you. Something you shared, set down in words that stay. Before the monument goes into production, you will always receive a proof to approve, so you can check every detail carefully.

Personalisation: your words, your choice

If you are unsure how to phrase something, we are happy to help you find wording that feels right.

Practical things to know before you order

Placing a grave monument takes preparation. Please read the following carefully before placing your order.

Check with the cemetery first

Before ordering, it is advisable to speak with your cemetery manager or local authority about what is permitted at your specific site. Some cemeteries specify requirements around dimensions, materials and form, and in certain locations only stonemasons from the local area are permitted to install monuments. Any concrete base slab and pile foundations beneath the stone will need to be installed by the cemetery itself. If you are placing the cremation urn in a private garden, our plastic urn vault is also available and straightforward to install yourself. Custom dimensions can be arranged.

Approval before production

Once you have placed your order, we will send you a proof of the monument for your approval. This gives you the opportunity to review every detail before anything is made. If you have any questions, please call us or use the contact form and we will talk it through with you at your own pace.
