A memorial that holds the memory

Choosing a memorial for someone you have lost is not a simple task. You are looking for something that does justice to who they were, that will last through the years, and that feels right for the place where they will rest. This granite cremation urn gravestone, finished with a chiselled glass surface, brings together character and lasting durability in a single piece.

Granite with a hand-worked surface

Granite is one of the most durable natural stones used in memorial work. The chiselled glass finish is a skilled craft technique in which the surface is worked with precision until a distinctive, textured relief emerges. That texture is not accidental. It is the result of careful craftsmanship, and it is present in every piece. The monument is available in a choice of colours, so you can select what suits both the person and the setting.

Meaning held in stone

The irregular texture of the chiselled glass surface means no two memorials are identical. Just as no two people are alike, each piece carries its own character. If you are looking for a memorial that reflects something of who your loved one was, that individuality carries real meaning. The bond you shared deserves something that could not belong to anyone else.

Personalisation via engraving

Text engraving is available on this memorial. A name, a date, or a short personal phrase can be applied directly to the stone. Once you have placed your order, we will send you a proof for approval before anything is engraved, so you can check every detail with confidence.

Practical reassurance before you order

Granite does not absorb moisture, does not fade in rain or frost, and holds its structure for decades without any special treatment. This urn for ashes will look as you intend it to look ten or twenty years from now, with no maintenance required beyond an occasional clean.

What to check before placing your order

Before ordering, it is worth speaking with your cemetery manager or local authority to confirm what is permitted at your chosen burial ground. Some cemeteries specify approved dimensions, materials or shapes for memorials, and certain sites require that installation is carried out by a local stonemason. Any concrete base or pile foundation beneath the memorial will need to be installed by the cemetery directly. If you are placing the memorial in a private garden, our plastic urn vault is an option worth considering, as it can be installed without specialist help. Non-standard dimensions are also available on request.

If you have any questions, please do get in touch by phone or via the contact form and we will talk through the options with you at your own pace.
