A piece of art that holds a real memory

If you are looking for something that reflects the person you have lost, rather than simply somewhere to keep their ashes, this keepsake urn was made with that in mind.

Forty years of craft in every piece

The artist behind this keepsake urn has been making ceramic artwork for more than forty years. That depth of experience shows. Each urn is hand-modelled from high-quality clay, then fired in a kiln. During firing, a liquid layer of bronze bonds directly to the ceramic surface, producing the rich bronze tone that gives each piece its character. No paint, no coating. The colour is part of the material itself. Because every urn is shaped entirely by hand, no two are identical. You are always choosing a singular piece.

An object that lives in a room, not a cabinet

The contemporary form and considered design mean this urn reads as an art object rather than a memorial product. It can sit on a shelf or a windowsill, visible to anyone who visits, whilst carrying its meaning quietly for those who know. The bond you shared does not need explaining. The object holds it.

Practical things worth knowing

Ceramic is a durable material, but placement and production both deserve a little thought. Here is what is relevant before you decide.

Indoor and outdoor use

This urn for ashes is suitable for both indoor and outdoor placement. If you choose an outdoor position, a sheltered spot is advisable. Prolonged frost and extreme temperature changes can put stress on ceramic over time, so protection from the worst of the weather will help the urn last well.

Production time and personalisation

From hand-modelling to kiln firing, the production process takes around four weeks. That time reflects the craft involved, not a delay. Text engraving is available if you would like to personalise the urn: a name, a date, a phrase that held meaning for the two of you. It makes the piece unique not only in form but in what it carries.

If you would like to talk through the personalisation options, we are happy to think it through with you at your own pace.
