A quiet place to remember

Some days you don't need a grand gesture. You need something that helps you pause, even briefly, and feel the weight of who you've lost. This keepsake urn does that gently, sitting in a fixed place at home and holding both memory and light.

A candle holder and urn in one

The 'Enlightening love' is a mini urn for ashes and tealight holder combined. It is designed to live on a shelf or windowsill as a quiet presence in the room, something that looks like a considered piece of art rather than immediately like an urn. That distinction matters to many people, and it shaped every decision in the design.

Forty years of craft, visible in every piece

This urn is hand-modelled by a ceramicist with more than four decades of experience in ceramic art. The process begins with high-quality clay, worked entirely by hand, and a bronze finish is bonded to the surface during firing, becoming part of the ceramic itself rather than a coating applied on top.

Each urn takes around four weeks to complete. Because every detail is formed by hand, no two pieces are identical. The production volume within any given period is naturally limited by that process.

The heart and what it holds

The heart shape refers to the bond you shared with the person you've lost. Not as an abstract motif, but as a form that carries genuine recognition. The tealight you place inside turns remembrance into a deliberate moment: on an anniversary, or on an ordinary evening when you want to sit quietly with a memory.

Practical things worth knowing

If you are choosing a permanent place for this urn, it helps to know how it works and what to be mindful of.

Use and care

This is a keepsake urn, designed to hold a portion of the ashes rather than the full volume, making it well suited to a personal memorial space at home. The filling opening is at the base, and the cap can be secured with adhesive if you prefer a permanent seal. Like all ceramic pieces, this urn can be damaged by a sharp fall, so a stable position away from high-traffic areas is advisable. It is designed for indoor use only, which protects the ceramic and the bronze finish over time. A 24-month guarantee applies, and help is available if you have questions about filling or positioning the urn.

Engraving and personalisation

Text engraving is available and is applied directly to the urn. A name, a date or a short phrase can be added, rendered in capital letters. If you would like to personalise the urn this way, please allow for some additional lead time when ordering. If you're unsure what wording to choose, a name or a meaningful date is often enough.

What people have said

'It feels like a small work of art, and that suits the memory we wanted to keep.'

'The candle gives us a moment to be still together.'

'The engraving made it personal. That was exactly what we were looking for.'

Making it yours

If 'Enlightening love' feels right for the person you are remembering, it can be ordered as it is or with a personal inscription added. A name, a birthday, a nickname or a line that belonged to them: that kind of detail is what turns a cremation urn into something that holds a specific person, not just a memory in general. If you'd like to talk through the wording or have any questions about the process, we're happy to help at your own pace.
