The clay is dried carefully, then fired at high temperature before a bronze finish is applied directly to the surface. That finish gives the piece the depth and character you see in old bronze sculpture, layered and shaped as though by time itself. Because no two hands move in quite the same way, each urn carries its own subtle variation in tone and finish. From modelling to firing, the process takes around four weeks. That care is visible in the result.
