Filling the urn: a simple step-by-step

Place the ash bag inside the urn, leaving part of it outside as a funnel, then pour the ashes in. Seal the bag with the cable tie and tuck it fully into the opening. If you prefer not to use the ash bag, a separate funnel is recommended to avoid spillage. Once the ashes are inside, make sure the inner seating edge is completely free of dust, grease and moisture using the cloth provided. Remove the protective film from the lid and press it firmly and evenly into the rim in a single movement. A properly closed lid sits flush with the body of the urn. If you would rather have the crematorium or funeral director fill the urn, that is entirely possible. Should the urn ever need to be reopened for any reason, our technicians can do that for you.
