If you would like to personalise this keepsake urn for ashes, laser engraving is available as an option. A computer-guided laser cuts an image directly into the stainless steel surface with high precision. The result can be rendered in greyscale or in colour, and the clarity of the final engraving depends on the resolution of the image you supply: the sharper the file, the finer the detail. You can select the engraving option and upload your chosen image during checkout. A portrait photograph works well, as does a signature, or anything that speaks directly to the bond you shared.

Filling and sealing the urn

All necessary accessories are included. The Cube seals using high-adhesion double-sided tape, rated to resist significant tension, creating an airtight closure. Because the urn is made from solid RVS 316, you can place ashes directly inside without an ash bag if you prefer. If there is any possibility that the ashes may need to be moved or transferred at a later date, using the included ash bag is advisable. Step-by-step filling instructions are included with the urn. You can also ask the crematorium or funeral director to fill the urn on your behalf, and if the urn ever needs to be reopened, our technicians can assist.

Stainless steel grade 316 is one of the most stable alloys available for memorial objects. Its composition of iron, chromium, nickel and carbon keeps it structurally sound under conditions that would damage glass or ceramic. There is no meaningful risk of breakage from an accidental knock or fall, and the seal remains intact over years of use. Practical questions

That said, if you think the ashes may need to be moved at a later stage, placing them in the included ash bag first gives you more flexibility.
