Filling the urn: a step-by-step guide

The urn arrives with clear instructions and all the accessories required. The process below gives you a straightforward overview.

• Place the ash bag into the urn, leaving a portion of the bag folded out over the opening to act as a funnel. If you prefer not to use the ash bag, skip ahead to the pouring step and use a separate funnel to avoid spillage.
• Pour the ashes in carefully, then secure the bag with the included cable tie and tuck it fully inside the opening.
• Ensure the inner rim of the urn is completely free of dust, grease and moisture. Use the cloth provided to wipe it clean.
• Remove the protective film from the lid, position it carefully against the rim, then press it down in a single firm movement until it sits flush. The base should be completely flat when the lid is properly sealed.

Delivery and lead time
