Pet coffin for burying or cremating your dog

The bond with a dog is often deep and irreplaceable. Dogs are loyal companions who become part of the family for many years, each with their own character, habits and unconditional love. When your dog passes away, it is completely understandable that you wish to say farewell in a meaningful and respectful way.

A pet coffin can help make this moment calmer and more intentional. Because the soil does not rest directly on the fur, a burial often feels gentler and more comforting for many pet owners. This coffin is also highly suitable for cremation. Many people prefer not to bring their beloved pet to a crematorium in a simple cardboard box, but in a coffin designed especially for animals.

Personal and comforting

You can personalise the exterior with a drawing, photograph, sticker or final message. This can be especially helpful for children, supporting them in understanding the loss and allowing them to be involved in the farewell. A small ritual, such as adding a flower, a note or your dog’s favourite toy, can make the moment even warmer and more personal.

Durable and fully biodegradable

The coffin is made from strong 2.3 BE double-wall corrugated cardboard, 4.2 mm thick, produced from wood pulp. This material is sturdy, entirely biodegradable and suitable for both burial and cremation. It allows you to make an environmentally friendly choice without compromising on dignity or appearance.

Construction and ease of use

The coffin is designed with extra locking tabs, two closures and two carry handles. The openings for the handles are lightly pre-cut and barely visible, allowing you to use the coffin with or without the included handles.

All components are made entirely from corrugated cardboard, without the use of additional materials. The coffin is delivered flat-packed and can be assembled securely with just a few simple steps. The special handles are made from extra-strong, double-reinforced corrugated cardboard. Their design prevents accidental contact between the hands and the body inside the coffin, ensuring hygiene, maintaining dignity and providing safe and comfortable carrying.

Are you allowed to bury a dog in your garden in Ireland?

In Ireland, it is generally permitted to bury your dog in your own garden, provided the animal was kept as a household pet and the burial does not pose any risk to soil, water or public health. The burial must take place on private property, and the pet should not be buried near a water source such as a well, stream or drainage system. If you rent your home, live in an apartment, or are unsure whether your land is suitable, it is advisable to contact your local authority for guidance.

For pets that have been euthanised using certain medications, vets may also offer advice on safe and responsible burial. When in doubt, consult your veterinarian or local council.
