Traditional bronze casting and hand finishing

The bronze is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting process, also known as cire perdue. A wax model is made first. Once the wax has been removed from the mould, the resulting space is filled with molten bronze. Each piece is then finished and patinated by hand. Small variations in colour and surface finish are a natural part of this craft process and give every sculpture its own character.

Bronze for a lasting place of remembrance

Bronze is suitable for long-term placement indoors and outdoors. With exposure to weather and time, the surface may gradually develop a natural patina. This changes the appearance without compromising the bronze itself. If you wish to retain the original bronze tone for as long as possible, the surface can be treated periodically with a suitable bronze wax.
