Traditional bronze casting and hand finishing

The bronze is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting process, also known as cire perdue. A wax model is made first. Once the wax has been removed from the mould, the resulting space is filled with molten bronze. Each piece is then finished and patinated by hand. Small variations in colour and surface finish are a natural part of this craft process and give every sculpture its own character.

Durable materials for indoor and outdoor placement

Bronze is suitable for long-term placement indoors and outdoors. Over time, exposure to weather can gradually create a natural patina on the bronze surface. This changes the appearance without compromising the bronze itself. If you prefer to retain the original bronze tone for as long as possible, the bronze can be cared for periodically with a suitable bronze wax. Natural stone also varies in colour, texture and veining, so no two bases will be exactly alike.
