Blown from glass, shaped by fire
Finding something that feels worthy of the person you've lost, without being showy or heavy, is not easy. This spherical glass cremation urn is made to sit quietly in a room and still feel entirely considered.
Crystal glass, shaped entirely by hand
The Mint Disk belongs to a collection inspired by the four natural elements: earth, water, air and fire. Each piece is mouth-blown and hand-formed from crystal glass, a process that demands real patience and skill. There is no mould and no machine involved. You can see that in the soft pearlescent sheen across the light green surface, and in the fine relief that wraps around the globe. Because each piece is formed by hand, the colour gradation and surface pattern vary from one urn to the next. No two are identical, and none will look exactly like the photograph.
Closed carefully and discreetly
Inside the urn is a sealed ash reservoir that holds the full volume of ashes. The urn is closed with a self-adhesive sealing plate. The glass is not transparent, so the ashes remain out of sight. That matters when the urn is displayed at home: it can stand openly in a room without drawing uncomfortable attention.
What this shade of green carries
Green speaks to growth and to what endures. If the bond you shared with your loved one was rooted in nature, in seasons changing, in a garden tended together or a favourite walk, this colour holds something of that shared life. The four elements were chosen as the foundation for this collection precisely because they carry that kind of meaning. It is not decorative. It is deliberate.
Adding a personal layer
Because every piece is shaped by hand, each urn for ashes is already individual before anything is added to it. If you would like to personalise the space around it, an engraving plate can be added, or a memory book placed alongside. Thinking carefully about the setting, the objects gathered near it, can make that corner of a room feel as considered as the urn itself.
Practical things worth knowing about glass
Crystal glass is a robust material, but it asks for a stable, secure surface indoors. Place the urn somewhere it cannot be easily knocked or tipped. Clean the surface with a dry or very slightly damp cloth only; abrasive products will damage the pearlescent finish. Because the sealing plate is self-adhesive, it is best to settle the urn in its final position and move it as little as possible afterwards.
Every urn in this collection differs in colour gradation and surface pattern. What you receive will be unique to you, and will not match the photograph exactly. That difference is not a flaw. It is the point.
If you are unsure whether this cremation urn is right for what you have in mind, we are happy to talk it through at whatever pace suits you.
