Memorial jewellery already carries meaning. But when you add a name, a date, or a few words that are exactly right, it becomes something else entirely. Not just beautiful, but yours.
What engraving does that printing cannot
Engraved text is not decoration. It is a fixed point, worked into the material itself rather than applied to the surface. The engraving studio handling this jewellery works to precision on every piece, so each letter is sharp and the text remains legible for years to come. That level of care matters when the words will never change.
How the approval process works
Because each piece is engraved to order, there is an additional production time of approximately four weeks from the point of your final approval. The process runs as follows:
- Layout proposal
Within a few days of placing your order, you will receive a digital layout by email showing exactly how the engraving will appear on the piece. - Review and amendments
Check the text carefully. If anything needs adjusting, let us know and we will revise the layout and send an updated version for you to review. - Final approval and production
Once you confirm the layout, the jewellery goes to the engraving studio. The additional four-week production period begins from that point.
A note on personalised orders
Please read the text on your layout proof carefully before giving your approval. Personalised and custom-made items are not covered by the standard right of withdrawal once production has begun. Take your time with the proof. You are not committed until you confirm.
No need to decide everything now
You do not need to have the wording finalised before you order. After you place your order, you will receive the layout proposal first. You can see precisely how the engraving will look before anything is cut. Only once you are satisfied and give your approval does the piece go into production. That means every detail is confirmed before it becomes permanent.
