Light held in glass

Sometimes you find yourself looking for something tangible. Not simply an object to place on a shelf, but something that keeps the memory of the person you loved visible and present. The Stardust keepsake urn was made for exactly that.

Handmade crystal glass with visible cremation ash

Crystal glass is shaped by hand, and that demands real skill, patience and a feel for the material. Every piece is therefore unique: no two are identical. At the centre of the Stardust sits an ash reservoir where a portion of the cremation ash is held. Through the transparent glass, the ash is partially visible, surrounded by a fine veil of minuscule air bubbles that catch and scatter the light. That visibility gives this urn for ashes a quality a closed urn simply cannot offer. The reservoir is sealed with a self-adhesive closing plate.

When light carries the memory

The bubbles in the glass are not decorative flourishes. They catch the light in a way that shifts with the time of day, the season, the angle of the sun through a window. That is precisely why the name Stardust works as a description, not just a label: it is what you actually see. The bond you shared finds a place here that is quietly present every day.

Placement and indoor use

The Stardust is designed for indoor use only. It shows best where natural or artificial light can reach it directly: a windowsill, a shelf, a cabinet with the right light source nearby. The surface beneath it should be stable and level. Keep it away from moisture or steam, a bathroom for instance is not a suitable location.

What to know before you decide

Glass is a fragile material. The Stardust needs a settled, protected spot where it will not be knocked or fall. Choose with care, and it will remain undisturbed. This cremation urn belongs to the Premium A line, and the quality of that designation is visible in the smoothness of the surface and the even distribution of bubbles throughout the glass. That consistency is genuinely difficult to achieve in handmade glass and is characteristic of this level of production.

If you would like to personalise the space around the Stardust, consider what you place alongside it. A photograph, a small stone, a keepsake from someone who knew them. Together, those objects say more than any one of them would alone.

If you would like to talk through whether the Stardust is the right choice for you, we are happy to help at your own pace and with no obligation.
