A tree of life that keeps on growing
The tree of life is not a decorative motif chosen for its appearance alone. It stands for everything a person gave to others: roots that held firm, branches that reached outward, a life that extended into the people around them. If you are looking for a way to honour that legacy in a form you can see and touch, this cremation urn gives it shape.
Designed and cast by a Dutch artist
This urn was not produced on a factory line. A Dutch artist designed and hand-modelled the original, which was then individually cast in solid bronze. Bronze casting demands precision and patience at every stage: each detail of the tree of life is fixed in the metal during the pour, and because the process is done individually, no two urns are exactly alike. Bronze is an alloy with centuries of use in lasting works of art, chosen precisely because it holds its integrity over time. That is a property of the material, not a marketing claim.
Practical confidence, indoors and out
Choosing a funeral urn raises practical questions as well as personal ones. Both deserve a straight answer.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor placement
Bronze is well suited to both indoor and outdoor use. In a garden or on a balcony, this urn can serve as a permanent memorial in a place that held meaning for the person you have lost. Over time, the metal oxidises naturally, developing a patina that deepens the character of the bronze rather than diminishing it.
Sealing and moisture protection
Once filled, the base cap should be sealed with adhesive to prevent moisture reaching the ashes. It is a straightforward step, but an important one. The urn can be used with or without an ash bag, so it works with whatever arrangement you have in place.
The tree they were for you
The tree of life carries a specific kind of meaning: the connection between generations. The branches represent what someone passed on, to children, grandchildren, friends, the people who grew because of them. If the person you are remembering was someone who helped others find their footing, this urn for ashes holds that story in its form. You are not simply choosing a place to keep the ashes. You are choosing an image that speaks to who they were.
Personalisation and placement
An engraving plate can be added if you would like to include a name, a date, or a short phrase. Beyond that, consider where the urn will sit. A favourite corner of the house, a spot in the garden where they spent time, a place that already carries memory. The urn becomes an anchor point, not just for you, but for the people around you who shared that bond.
