Biodegradable scattering tube made from mulberry paper with bougainvillea flowers

Saying goodbye in a place that matters

This handmade ashes scattering tube is designed to help you scatter a loved one's ashes calmly and with control. The mulberry paper is combined with bougainvillea flowers, giving the tube a distinctive organic texture. It is suitable for scattering or temporarily holding ashes and may also be used for placing ashes into water. It is not suitable for a columbarium niche.

Handmade mulberry paper with bougainvillea flowers

The tube is made from natural mulberry fibres and bougainvillea flowers, with no metal or plastic components. The natural material forms part of the paper itself, so colour, texture and finish can vary slightly from one tube to another.

• 100% biodegradable - the natural paper gradually breaks down after use.
• Bougainvillea flowers - adds natural structure and character.
• No metal or plastic - made from natural materials.
• Handmade - small variations make every tube individual.
• Suitable for many natural burial grounds - made from biodegradable materials; always check the individual site's rules before use.

Scatter ashes simply and with control

The scattering tube consists of two close-fitting sections with a removable outer lid. Beneath it is a second lid with a pre-perforated opening. This allows the ashes to be scattered gradually and with control. The design is straightforward to use for both families and funeral professionals.

Suitable for different ways of saying goodbye

The scattering tube is available in different sizes. This allows ashes to be divided between several tubes if you wish to scatter in more than one location, or if family members would like to say goodbye at different times.

The paper is sufficiently robust for normal use but is not intended for prolonged exposure to moisture or rain. Keep the tube dry until it is needed. If you wish to keep it as a memento, store it in a dry indoor location. The tube can be used indoors and outdoors.

Bougainvillea flowers and the meaning of natural materials

The visible natural fibres give the tube an understated, organic appearance. They can also be associated with beauty, vitality and connection, adding a quiet layer of meaning to the practical function of the scattering tube.

After use, the tube may also be kept as a memento. Choose the size that best suits the amount of ashes and the way in which you would like to say goodbye.
